Pouvez-vous vous présenter en quelques mots ?

Je suis David Fayet, 52 ans, créateur et gestionnaire de Ouest Call, un groupe de 6 télésecrétariats, implanté dans l’ouest de la France.

Pourriez-vous nous parler de vos entreprises et de leurs activités/prestations ?

Ouest Call est un groupe de télésecrétariat qui maille tout l’Ouest de la France de Paris à Toulouse. Nous sommes nés à Agen avec Permetel puis nous nous sommes développés dans plusieurs villes : Paris, Nantes, Toulouse, Tulle, Cahors et Montauban. Bordeaux est le dernier télésecrétariat à avoir rejoint le groupe récemment. Nous sommes attachés à nos racines et à notre région.

Notre objectif est de mettre en place une relation de proximité avec nos clients. C’est pourquoi nous avons privilégié un développement local, en créant des entités de taille humaine, proches de nos clients. Le groupe offre une mutualisation des moyens et des compétences qui permet, par exemple, de faire face aux pics d’activité tout en garantissant une continuité de service.

Au total, nous sommes une 60aine de collaborateurs et nous organisons chaque année des événements qui permettent de créer des moments de partages.

Pourriez-vous nous parler du SIST et ce qu’il vous apporte ?

Cela fait maintenant 4 ans que j’ai intégré le SIST. Au début, je dois avouer que j’étais un peu sceptique à l’idée de rejoindre un tel réseau. Mais très rapidement, j’ai réalisé son importance. Le SIST m’a apporté un réseau professionnel solide et structuré. Bien plus encore, c’est un soutien au quotidien en cas de problématiques spécifiques à notre métier. L’ensemble de l’équipe fait preuve d’une grande bienveillance et d’une réelle volonté de créer de la cohésion. J’ai tout de suite senti que je faisais partie de cette grande famille.

Vous menez de front deux activités professionnelles, pouvez-vous nous en dire plus ?

Ma carrière a débuté dans le monde équestre, où j’ai évolué pendant une quinzaine d’années en tant que directeur de centre équestre. J’étais à la fois enseignant et compétiteur et j’ai pu vivre de ma passion qui avait d’ailleurs débutée depuis l’âge de 8 ans.  J’ai continué cette passion sous forme de loisirs en parallèle du télésecrétariat.

Récemment, j’ai repris la direction d’un centre structure et j’alterne la compétition le weekend et le rôle de professeur la semaine.

Le monde équestre et celui de la gestion de centre d’appels peuvent sembler aux antipodes. Mais pour moi, ces deux activités sont complémentaires à bien des égards. D’un côté, j’évolue dans un univers très concret, en contact direct avec la nature et les chevaux. De l’autre, je travaille dans un environnement plus virtuel derrière des écrans.

Cette diversité me définit assez bien. Cette double casquette me donne un véritable équilibre entre ces deux pôles de ma vie professionnelle. Les compétences acquises dans un domaine sont utiles dans l’autre notamment l’écoute et la réactivité face à des situations délicates.

Concrètement, ma semaine type se déroule ainsi : je commence par faire le tour des structures de télésecrétariat de notre groupe, puis je finis ma tournée hebdomadaire aux écuries de Flamenac à Angoulême, mon point d’attache.
